Across horticulture, logistics, commodities, technology and life science, Florex Group has invested in companies, restructured them for strength, and transitioned each to the right strategic partner. A selection of that work below.

An investment in the first supply-chain software to connect an entire chain — from origin to consumer. Well ahead of its time, the concept still holds real value for stock management, sustainability and end-to-end visibility.
An investment in a company saving plants from extinction — running propagation programmes, returning species to their natural habitat and enriching consumer knowledge of exotic plants and their stories.
The world's largest flowers-and-plants company. We acquired all shares from Parcom (an ING Bank company) and shifted the focus to quality over size — a strategic selection of clients, products and team members that paved the way for stronger outcomes.
We helped one of Amsterdam's oldest barge companies achieve a strategic exit — building a tailored proposal that normalised the figures and showcased the true value of the business, securing a favourable price for the seller.
In the port of Amsterdam we acquired Logwise — a 70,000 m² facility home to top-tier companies in high-tech, pharma, food and medical equipment.
As part of the supply chain we saw rising volumes of waste paper and plastic exported from Europe to the Far East. QFR traded thousands of containers in these commodities to Indonesia and China. We carved out the company after import-policy changes in the region.
On acquiring this renowned lily-breeding company we met challenges in management, production planning and livestock quality. By carefully selecting the best resources, staff, products, markets and partners, we optimised the operation and secured a promising future.
Founded in 1991 to clean and improve soil and water using zeolite and special enzyme strains from water-purification plants. The company later evolved into an agricultural fertiliser supplier.
A logistics company built on a new concept: more reliable service at better prices across deep sea, short sea, trucking, barge, rail and air freight. A one-stop, solid forwarding company with import and export expertise.
In 2006 we invested in Topwood, a wholesale wooden-furniture company developing new concepts for the largest DIY stores. We restructured the business and found the right strategic partner to grow it further.
One of Turkey's leading logistics companies — highly successful and profitable. We acquired all shares in 2013 and learned a great deal about the Turkish market, especially its tremendous export volumes. As the market shifted, we carved out the company.
Created to meet rising supply-chain finance needs. By buying and selling companies on behalf of our customers, the group enables commodity trade on a global scale.
In 2015 we started AWL Moerdijk with the AWL Groep, delivering specialised contract logistics. We sold the company to its management, who grew it into an important player in the port of Moerdijk. AWL remains a strong partner of the Sea and Shore Group.
